Eating "GROSI WALT"-Style
GOOD FOOD, DRINK AND BREAKFAST IN WILDHAUS
Grandma Grosi Walt was a fabulous woman and her spirit still lives on in our house.
In her day she obtained food from the local farmers and producers and so do we today.
We appreciate sustainably short distances and we know where to find the best quality of meat, vegetables, or cheeses.
At the Hirschen you will eat like in the good old days: fresh and healthy regional products.
Grosi Walt's breakfast will get the day off to a good start.
At dinner time meat lovers will find plenty of fine cuts from the Toggenburg region on the menu.
On our menu you will also find delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes made from regional products.
And after dinner there is our bar «Chrüter & Choller» to round off an enjoyable evening.
Hirschen Stube Gourmet & Beiz
The Hirschen Stube Gourmet & Beiz combines the traditional, down-to-earth restaurant with upscale gourmet cuisine. With us everything is homemade.
In the «Säumerstation» groups of up to 18 people can celebrate and be merry at our large wooden table. And when the sun shines there is always our garden with its lovely red maple to sit under.
«Chrüter & Choller Bar»
Sometimes you just get the blues – only here in Toggenburg we call it «choller». And if the blues gets to you, we will always have a good glass of whiskey or a fine local «Chrüter» schnapps for you. Together with wonderful live blues sessions, a bowling lane, dartboard, and pool table.
Welcome to our "CHRÜTER & CHOLLER all Bourbon Bluesbar".
Enjoy the culinary delights of Thailand. The hosts Harald and Thida Hämmerle present you authentic dishes in a typically stiled ambiance.
During the three winter months we are going to pamper you in our new pop-up restaurant Simply Thai from Tuesday to Saturday from 5 p.m.
Grandma Grosi Walt taught us how important it is to have a good and healty breakfast.
So before you climb the Churfirsten or start into a long seminar day, we offer you an enjoyable and large selection of regionally produced meats and sausages, freshly cooked egg dishes, cheeses, muesli, fruit, homemade jams, honey and fresh breads.
